The Films you need to see this May!

I’m back! It has been a little while, and I’m sorry about that but I come to you from under a mountain of exam prep and deadlines… you know how it is!

Let’s jump into this! Movies are kind of my thing and this month actually looks set to be amazing…definitely worth taking a few nights off revision.

1. Alien: Covenant – 12th May 2017 (15)

“The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.”

This film is basically Prometheus 2…so if you were a fan I would 100% suggest a trip!

2. Baywatch – 29th May 2017 (15)

Well, we all know what’s going on here. Duh! Baywatch was awesome and now it’s back, but instead of David Hasselhoff we get Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. Of course there isn’t just eye candy for the ladies, there are some beautiful women too. I cannot wait to see Alexandra Daddario in action!

 3. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales – 25th May 2017 (12A)

In the UK this film is also known as Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge… I don’t really know why, but just a heads up, in case you’re trying to book or view a trailer and nothing is coming up!

At long last we finally see the return of one of my favourite film franchises. (Nothing beats Harry Potter…okay?) Whilst the fourth installment seemed a bit iffy and  definitely wasn’t as good as the others, I have my fingers and toes crossed that Jack Sparrow is back and even better than before. It certainly seems that way, and the film critics seem to think so too!

So that brings me to an end. I’m sorry that this is a little shorter than usual, there are big films this month, but only a few of them! I was hoping to add Everything Everything, but unfortunately, here in the UK we don’t receive it until August…please my American friends…let me know what you think!!

Thank you so much for reading! I hope you found this useful. If you do catch any of them let me know what you thought? Is there any films that you think I missed out this month?
Please make sure you follow me on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for more than just my weekly update here. If you haven’t already, please’ll be the first to be notified of any posts, and I may even surprise you occasionally!

See you next time
