The Best Films to see in April!

So as time is flying, and it is ALREADY April, here are some more film releases this month, just to occupy you through those rainy days, after all, April showers bring May flowers… so expect plenty of them!

1. The Boss Baby – April 1st

Don’t be fooled, this animation isn’t just for the kids. I’ve actually served more lone adults their tickets for this film than anyone else. So PLEASE don’t be put off by it’s cartoon features.

“A new baby’s arrival impacts a family, told from the point of view of a delightfully unreliable narrator — a wildly imaginative 7-year-old named Tim. The most unusual Boss Baby (Alec Baldwin) arrives at Tim’s home in a taxi, wearing a suit and carrying a briefcase. The instant sibling rivalry must soon be put aside when Tim discovers that Boss Baby is actually a spy on a secret mission, and only he can help thwart a dastardly plot that involves an epic battle between puppies and babies.”

2. Fast and Furious 8 – April 12th

This is (obviously) the 8th part to the Fast and Furious franchise. It’s big, beefy and full of action, as well as those muscly men and stunning women to entertain all audiences.

“Now that Dom (Vin Diesel) and Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) are on their honeymoon, Brian and Mia have retired from the game, and the rest of the crew has been exonerated, the globetrotting team has found a semblance of a normal life. But when a mysterious woman seduces Dom back into a world of crime that he can’t seem to escape, the crew will face trials that will test them as never before.”

3. A Dog’s Purpose – April 21st

This film is guaranteed to make even the stoney hearts cry. Please don’t be put off by any previous and false controversy… No animals were harmed in the making of this film, and it looks truly special. This is the film I’m most excited for from this list.

“A devoted dog (Josh Gad) discovers the meaning of its own existence through the lives of the humans it teaches to laugh and love. Reincarnated as multiple canines over the course of five decades, the lovable pooch develops an unbreakable bond with a kindred spirit named Ethan (Bryce Gheisar). As the boy grows older and comes to a crossroad, the dog once again comes back into his life to remind him of his true self.”

4. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 – April 28th

Okay, yes I picked another sequel, but I promise it’s set to be amazing, and so if you haven’t already, watch the first. Plus who doesn’t love Chris Pratt?

“The team journeys to unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s (Chris Pratt) parentage.”

I hope you’ve found more of my chatting useful and you’ve found yourself some films to be excited about this month!

Let me know if you’ve got plans to see these films already, or if I’ve missed off something you’re really looking forward too!

Thank you for reading!

See you soon!
